He stressed the importance of permanently identifying threats to peace and security, as well as preparing society’s capacities to defend the country from them. Emphasized the value of leadership.
Warned that the extreme right continues to try to destabilize and cause a stir in the population. He pointed out that the attacks on the National Electroenergetic System (SEN) continue. The same people who intended to leave us in the dark on July 28, continue today with sabotage, he said.
Urged to remain vigilant against the fascists and gave indications to strengthen the protection of SEN infrastructures and others that guarantee vital services.
He noted that the country is making progress in building capabilities for drone defense. He indicated to review the equipment acquired, from the Israeli attacks against thousands of people in Lebanon, whose communication devices blew up the intelligence services of the Zionist entity.
He instructed that counter-terrorism operations be strengthened, in particular against plans that may be conceived by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). and the Spanish National Intelligence Centre (CNI). He also encouraged continued capacity building in the national military industry to achieve technological sovereignty.
He pointed out that Venezuela is astonished by the number of conspiracies and destabilizing attempts it has had to face. He claimed that they are promoted by the power elites of US imperialism. He said that today they do not only have media weapons, such as the hegemonic media, but also social networks to carry out psychological warfare.
Maduro Moros indicated that a review of public history in the 1960s should be carried out, completing the military history of Venezuela from the 19th and 20th centuries and the one we are building in this 21st century.
